ATEC 25 is a versatile monocoque aluminium boom suitable for windsurfers of all levels. It combines affordability with several high-performance components found in upper-tier models, making it well suited for recreational freeride as well as more dynamic sailing in varying conditions.

Construction and materials

The 25 mm tube diameter is the slimmest ever offered by NeilPryde, providing an ergonomic grip and reducing hand fatigue. The monocoque aluminium construction increases stiffness compared to conventional aluminium booms, helping maintain stable sail trim and predictable handling.

Front-end system and power transfer

The VT Joint paired with the V-Shape mast cup increases contact area with the mast and minimizes play in the connection. This improves power transfer and ensures a secure fit with SDM masts, while the included RDM shim provides a stable interface for RDM setups.

Adjustment and ergonomics

The optimized cleat angle makes outhaul adjustments easier and prevents unintended rope movement. The trim-pin mechanism allows fast, reliable tail length tuning, while the integrated boom lever simplifies front-end operation. ATEC 25 is designed to make rigging and sailing comfortable and intuitive.
