Boom character

Carbon Pro 27 is targeted at experienced riders who prefer a thicker grip and a boom that reacts instantly to every input. It performs best in strong wind and wave situations where stability, control, and consistent feedback are essential during high-load maneuvers.

Construction and materials

The monocoque pre-preg carbon body forms a highly torsion-resistant structure. The custom pre-preg carbon wave tail uses a square-profile design that increases sail stability and overall rigidity under load. The larger 27 mm tube diameter provides a firmer, more planted grip.

Front-end system and power transfer

The VT Joint and V-shaped mast cup increase the contact area with the mast, reducing play and delivering efficient power transfer. The connection fits SDM masts directly and, with the included shim, also provides a secure interface for RDM.

Adjustment and ergonomics

The custom wave tail is available in two lengths and integrates a complete loop-to-hook outhaul system for clean and friction-free rigging. The trim-pin mechanism allows quick adjustment while maintaining a stiff connection between tail and boom body. The integrated boom lever simplifies front-end operation in all conditions.
