Boom character
Carbon Race Pro 27 E is engineered for pure racing performance, delivering stable sail control and direct feedback under maximum load. It complements modern slalom and foil-race sails, offering instant reaction to rider input and consistent handling throughout the entire range of conditions.
Construction and materials
The monocoque pre-preg carbon body ensures exceptional torsional stiffness, maintaining the sail’s profile even during heavy pumping and high-speed power transitions. The oval boom diameter not only matches the natural shape of the rider’s hands but further increases overall rigidity.
Front-end system and power transfer
The VT Joint combined with the V-shaped mast cup maximizes contact area with the mast, reducing any play in the connection and improving power transfer. The system fits SDM masts directly and, with the included RDM shim, provides a secure interface for RDM rigs as well.
Adjustment and ergonomics
The integrated Interouthaul hides the trimming lines inside the boom arms, keeping the exterior completely clear and allowing clean, uninterrupted movement while racing. The monocoque carbon Race tail incorporates seven pulleys for efficient outhaul adjustment. The trim-pin mechanism enables quick length changes, and the integrated boom lever simplifies front-end operation with minimal effort.
