Character and purpose
The FireFly is designed as the go-to wing for a wide range of riders — from beginners learning to fly to advanced riders looking for a light, playful freeride and wave-oriented feel. The 2026 model features refined canopy tension and tuning across the size range, resulting in a crisper response and more efficient pumping.
Construction and materials
A durable leading-edge structure ensures stability under load, while the graduated Ripstop layout (5x5 in front, 6x6 in back) helps maintain canopy tension and reduces long-term stretch. PVC windows offer visibility and impact resistance. A stiff transition segment in the strut improves power transfer and enhances low-wind starts.
Performance on the water
The FireFly delivers smooth, predictable drive, which is ideal both for first flights and for freeride cruising in variable conditions. The high-tension canopy improves lift generation and acceleration, and the wing remains efficient at low angles of attack, broadening its usable wind range. Integrated battens keep the trailing edge clean and reduce flutter during higher-speed riding.
Ergonomics and equipment
The Carbon Mono Handle offers a simple, lightweight and direct steering feel. The Tubular FireFly Bag fits the wing with the handle attached, and its strap can function as a waist leash. A pump adapter and bladder repair kit are included. Leash sold separately.
