Character and purpose
The Fly IV is a completely re-engineered wing designed for fast, performance-oriented freeride. The updated leading edge geometry increases stiffness without adding diameter, resulting in a more stable and more precise wing across the entire wind range. The shorter wingspan improves control, especially in the larger sizes, while the refined profile provides a clean, predictable power delivery.
Construction and materials
The canopy uses a graduated Ripstop layout with 5x5 panels in the front and 6x6 in the back, ensuring long-term shape stability and reduced stretch under load. PVC windows offer maximum visibility and durability, and the transverse panel layout keeps the critical entry sections stable during acceleration. High tension canopy shaping improves lift generation and allows the wing to fly efficiently at low angles of attack.
Performance on the water
Compared to previous versions, the Fly IV is faster, more compact and more responsive. It maintains stable drive in both light and strong wind, while the updated camber — now matching the Fly IV Pro — expands the usable range of each size. Integrated battens create a clean trailing edge with minimal flutter, improving control during high-speed riding and transitions.
Ergonomics and equipment
The new Carbon Mono Handle provides a light, direct and streamlined grip, making steering both precise and effortless. Included with the wing is the Tubular Bag (fits the wing with the handle attached), pump adapter and bladder repair kit. Leash sold separately
