Character and purpose
Developed directly from race-wing prototypes, the Fly IV Pro features a redesigned, stiffer leading edge and a reduced wingspan for better balance in technical maneuvers. The increased canopy tension improves pumping efficiency, responsiveness in light wind and overall stability during fast transitions.
Construction and materials
Aluula Aeris and Aeris X in the leading edge and middle strut deliver a highly rigid structure at minimal weight, keeping the profile locked under load and improving handling in strong wind. The graduated canopy layout (5x5 at the front, 6x6 at the rear) limits stretch over time, preserving the wing’s aerodynamic shape. Ultralight X-Ply windows provide useful visibility without compromising weight or stiffness.
Performance on the water
Refined lift distribution and high tension canopy expand the usable wind range, allowing riders to step down to smaller sizes without losing low-end power. The wing works efficiently at low angles of attack, improving control on fast reaches, while integrated battens stabilize the trailing edge to eliminate flutter at high speed.
Ergonomics and equipment
The Carbon Mono Handle offers a direct, lightweight and precise grip. The Tubular FireFly Bag fits the wing with the handle attached, and its shoulder strap doubles as a waist leash. Included accessories: pump adapter and bladder repair kit.
